Viva Las Vegas

Dorian and I took a trip to Las Vegas for a few days at the beginning of May and I finally have the pictures from the trip to post so now I can blog it. After church on May 4th we drove down to Vegas. Before checking in at the hotel (we stayed at the Stratosphere) we drove around and visited our old neighborhoods. Dorian lived in Las Vegas for 4 years in high school and I of course, lived there from September 1993-April 2001.

We had a lot of fun walking up and down the strip, touring all the casinos and people watching. We even gambled $4.00 in the penny slots. We are such high rollers!

My old apartment in Henderson.

This is the house Dorian lived in during high school.

Here I am at the drive-thru wedding chapel - how romantic!

Kathleen, the one-armed bandit!

Oh, naughty!!!

Dorian and Kathleen outside the Luxor. These are the kind of animals I like-inanimate!

Inside the beautiful conservatory at the Bellagio.

Dorian on top of the Stratosphere tower. Can you tell he's afraid of heights?

Fun pictures of a fun time in Las Vegas. Okay - the picture of you pointing at the statue of David and your comment reminds me more of the "Redmon" side of the family. But how can that be? I guess it is possible - just my influence on you perhaps?

That looks like fun! You always figure out the best things to do even in the most unlikely of places (Las Vegas wouldn't be my first choice for a vacation). I love the picture of you pointing to the statute of David!
